Ryan Lester is a 21 year old composer and writer, born and raised in North Carolina. Music became a passion for Ryan at the age of 9 while participating in the church choir, and performing his first solo of the song, Emmanuel. He participated in the "On Stage with Chris Daughtry" event while in the 5th grade, and took chorus classes throughout middle and high school, ultimately attending the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in pursuit of a music degree.

The idea of writing didn't strike Ryan until he was in 8th grade, while reading Erin Hunter's Warriors series. The idea to write a cat-based adventure was enticing to him, however, he instead began forming the roots of a different story — one entrenched in magic. The book with the working title Mysticism now steadily gains progress, on the way to an eBook publication.

Ryan first composed a slew of short songs throughout middle school, though none of them had quite stuck with him, except for a song with the title From Me. Starting in high school, he developed an interest in score composition, and began to write numerous pieces, which some can be found on a Minecraft RPG server.
